Content Marketing Specialist


  • Develop and conceptualize engaging creative content direction for marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Curate and create well-researched, must-share stories that would be of high interest to Malaysians.
  • Identify social media trends and create content based on those trends, with a local twist.
  • Come up with really clickable headlines and brainstorm ideas.
  • Ideate and execute on content growth hacks to increase AVANA viewers.
  • Write, edit and oversee all of AVANA collaterals which relates with content and copywriting across all departments and channels.
  • From EDMs, social media postings and taglines to scripts and large-scale campaigns, your copy will touch every part of AVANA.
  • Organise end-to-end on all marketing collaterals and attend production shoots and events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine consistency in copy tone and style, ensuring that it complements accompanying artwork.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop engaging and inspiring creatives. 
  • Maintain high standards of content development and outcome with quality control exercise across all deliverables.
  • In the loop of fast paced industry and wide trends to create engaging and culturally relevant marketing content with these 4 criteria – To Entertain / To Inspire / To Educate / To Convince.
  • To use, to analyze and to optimise on AVANA web traffic and all marketing platforms using Google Analytics, Google Trends and other equivalent digital or social tools for content producing to achieve business targets.
  • Able to produce and design content marketing strategies and set short + long term goals.


  • Candidate must possess at least a Certification from Google or Facebook

  • Candidate should be a digital enthusiast who can think out of the box.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in content marketing.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred, contributing to the areas of planning, strategizing and vendor management.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest creative content strategies.
  • Highly proficient in Malay and English.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent and requires minimal supervision.
  • Fun with a positive nature mindset and attitude.
  • A customer-driven approach and good commercial awareness.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines and targets.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable in creative storytelling techniques with commercial and digital approaches.
  • Knowledgeable to use Google Analytics, Google Trends and Social Media Analytic Tools.
  • Data driven.
